Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited

Serving Society Through Industry

Social Responsibility

An organization must continually earn the right to operate in the communities and countries in which it produces and sells. We are committed to giving back more to the society than what we take from it in terms of its resources.

The organization is not a stand-alone economic entity but an integral part of the society. We believe that the organization fulfils its obligations by sharing its resources for community building activities, which are ultimately reinvested in the business through the various stakeholders who form a part of the community: the customers, employees and investors.

The company is committed to the physical, academic and economic well-being of the community by actively pursuing the cause of education, social, culture, health and welfare. Our community development activity covers a wide array of activities like village adoption programs, rehabilitation and relief activities for people hit by natural calamities, health care activities including immunization and health camps, literacy programs both for school children and adults, support to early intervention program for spastics and physically challenged children, development and maintenance of various public facilities, training farmers at our training center on modern farm practices, renovation and restoration of archeological monuments and cultural heritage sites.
